Family-owned, Montgomery, Alabama
Family-owned, and building pools in Alabama for over fifteen years.
Mr. Pool has its own phrase for what it wants to leave behind in a yard: the coolest, cleanest pools in town. The company builds with its own construction crews, services what it builds through its own service department, and sends every new owner through its own Mr. Pool school before the handover is done.
The showroom is at 875 N Eastern Blvd in Montgomery. From there the company serves nine Alabama towns, and it is the Findlay liner dealer for the pools it replaces liners in.
Over 15 years of pools. Over 50 years of combined experience in the service department.
Field book
How a build is run by one company
- Dig
Excavation is done by Mr. Pool's own construction crews. A reviewer who had a pool built describes the crews as specialized and not subcontractors.
- Walls
Walls and a concrete footing, then a concrete bottom, both part of the standard package.
- Liner
A 20 mil or 27 mil liner goes in, with liner over the stairs and cantilever coping around the edge.
- Deck
A concrete deck, 10 ft on the ends and 6 ft on the sides in the standard package. Another customer remembers the crew finishing the dirt work so sod could be laid.
- Fence
Custom pools come with safety fences and covers, and the build runs through to the security fence.
- Handover
Balanced chemicals, maintenance tools, training at the Mr. Pool school, and a one-year warranty on construction.

The Mr. Pool school
A new pool comes with a lesson in running it.
Training is part of the standard package, and it happens at the company's own Mr. Pool school. Every Mr. Pool employee is trained there too, the service department included.
One customer who built with the company wrote that the experience ran from the first meeting with Everett to the pool school with Cooper. The pool is handed over with balanced chemicals and maintenance tools, so the owner starts with a pool that is ready to use.
The people customers mention by name
Customers who reviewed Mr. Pool on Google name three people. Everett H comes up as the person who handled sales and stayed their primary contact through construction. Cooper is the name attached to the pool school. Jackson is the service technician one customer thanked for a pump motor replacement.
The company is on local television too: WSFA lists a segment titled Central Alabama Business Break - Mr. Pool, dated December 4, 2024.
If a pool needs financing, Mr. Pool works with Lyon Financial. Details are on the financing page.
“We decided to use Mr. Pool for our pool installation. I cannot say enough good things about them. They were so easy to work with. Very professional, courteous, and just all around fabulous.”
“I have been a customer of Mr. Pool for about 10 years. Their service is reliable and always completed in a timely manner.”
See the work, then see the towns
The finished yards are in the portfolio, the build itself is laid out on the new pool construction page, and the nine towns Mr. Pool builds in are on the locations page.
