Liner

Findlay Liner Replacement

A new Findlay vinyl liner for your Alabama pool, fitted by the same family-owned Montgomery crews that build pools from the first dig.

How you know the liner is finished

A vinyl liner does not fail all at once. It fades first, the pattern going pale where the sun and chemicals work on it every day. Then come wrinkles along the floor and walls, and finally a leak that has you topping off the pool more than the weather explains. Any one of those is a reason to call.

Traditional liners need replacing about every 10 to 15 years. If yours is somewhere in that window and the colour has drifted, plan the swap on your schedule, before a tear turns it into a repair in the middle of a pool season.

What a Findlay liner is made of

We install Findlay vinyl liners: virgin vinyl, made in America, and UV-resistant. They come in light and dark colours and in regular and swirl patterns, and we stock them for rectangular, oval and round pools.

Bring your pool's shape and size to the showroom at 875 N Eastern Blvd in Montgomery and we will work out the fit with you. The liner should be matched to your pool before anything is drained.

Warranty on the liner, in plain terms

Findlay liners carry a 2-year full replacement on manufacturer defects and a 20-year prorated warranty. We are a family-owned company with our own crews and our own Mr. Pool school, so there is one local company to call about the liner, the pool and the service after.

From a drained shell to a pool that holds water

  1. Prep

Drain the pool and take the old liner out, so the walls and floor are bare before anyone judges them.

  2. Correct

Acid-wash the steps, fix imperfections in the bottom and add wall foam where the wall needs it.

  3. Develop

Install the Findlay liner with a new skimmer, gasket, return plates and drain cover.

  4. Finish

Let the liner settle, refill the pool, and test that it holds water.

The shell above is the stage where the Correct step earns its place. Anything under the vinyl shows through it, which is why the steps get their acid wash and the bottom its repairs before the new liner is hung.
